Recently ranked in the top ten most improved schools in Quebec, Westmount High School encourages students to achieve their potential, both in academic and personal growth. The school offers a diverse selection of academic programs geared towards their individual needs. Through the staff’s dedication to promote good study skills, enrichment programs, and Advanced Placement courses, students are provided with all the tools and resources necessary to become successful life-long learners in a supportive and safe environment. In addition to their academic requirements, students are strongly encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities, whether academic, socio-cultural or athletic.

Bienvenue au nouveau site web de Westmount High !

Notre philosophie à l’école secondaire Westmount High est d’encourager les élèves à se surpasser en leur offrant une grande variété de programmes académiques adaptés à leurs besoins. De plus, les enseignants sont engagés à développer les meilleures méthodes de travail possible que ce soit par l’aide aux devoirs, le tutorat, l’enrichissement ou les programmes plus exigeants comme ceux de A.P.(Advanced placement program).

En outre, nous nous assurons que toutes les ressources et les outils nécessaires sont à la disposition des élèves en tout temps.

Par ailleurs, l’école Wesmtount High offre un programme d’activités parascolaires unique en son genre puisque 65 activités ont été créées,cette année. Les genres varient entre les clubs sportifs, culturels, académiques, environnementaux, etc.

Finalement, Westmount High est fière de sa diversité culturelle et du climat de tolérance et de respect qui régne à l’école. Nous espérons que les élèves de Westmount High continueront à s’impliquer dans leur communauté pour devenir des citoyens responsables et épanouis.

Westmount High is easily accessible by the Vendome and Atwater Metros. Buses 90 and 63 stop right in front of the school. The building is wheelchair accessible with an attached elevator.

Strong showing for WHS in McEntyre writing contest

Congratulations to Westmount High's winners of the McEntyre writing competition! With stiff competition from private schools in the area, Westmount High students took 10 of the 20 awards available.
